Project Description

Muskegon, MI – View Their Website

Michigan’s Adventure, a Cedar Fair Entertainment Company amusement park, added the Beach Party (a Whitewater RainFortress © with eruption feature) to its repertoire of waterpark amusements. The Family Lagoon area, including the pool, Jolly Roger Ship and Tree House Harbor was demolished to make room for the new 9,950 square foot Beach Party splash deck in 2011.

Project challenges included fitting the attraction with associated pump house in the footprint of the Family Lagoon, tying the Beach Party’s treatment system into the existing recirculation system for the Family Lagoon, and minimizing the impact to nearby attractions. WET Engineering provided permitting and design services on the project. The Beach Party was completed on time for the season opening in 2011.

What Our Clients Are Saying...

Matt Boyd

Director of Operations, Whale’s Tale Waterpark

We were looking to install ProSlide's very first RideHouse and needed an engineer who could design a drainage and supply water plan as well as a mechanical room. We heard about the problems other parks had with similar structures, and couldn't be happier about our choice to go with WET Engineering. They were there for support during the build process and the system works without a flaw.

Gary Pinner

City Manager, Town of Cross City

WET Engineering is not only efficient & effective in their professional role, but they take the time to engage with clients with a genuine interest in how a project impacts the entire area and community. Their knowledge & attention to detail have aided the Cross City in securing funding and completing time sensitive projects.
